Justin is a keen naturalist with a broad knowledge of East Africa his wide interests include mammalian life, bird life, insects, plants, paleontology, history and culture. After completing his education, he traveled the world for nine years to satisfy an eager interest in different cultures, customs and languages. During this period he worked in a wide variety of fields, including a project to re-introduce the Arabian white Oryx to the central deserts of Oman. The eternal traveler, Justin leads climbs up Mount Kilimanjaro as well as conducting safaris in various parts of Africa. Justin is a qualified KPSGA (Kenya Professional Safari Guide's Association) Silver.

Ole Kirimbai

Ole Kirimbai is a Maasai tribal elder. The Maasai are renowned for their love of cattle and their knowledge of the African bush. He has great communication skills and has been key with all our cultural film shoots. For many years Ole Kirimbai worked for the Tanzanian Game Department as a game officer. He worked mostly in the bush of northern Tanzania.

Mike Pelham

Mike began his guiding career in 1990 canoeing and walking in the Zambezi Valley and was one of the youngest guides to qualify as a full Professional Guide in Zimbabwe's rigorous guiding exams. He was awarded Professional Guide of the Year in 1992. Mike was involved for several years in assisting Zimbabwe's Department of National Parks in their Black Rhino programs. His knowledge of the rhino and their habitat was put to good use as he was called to help track and translocate the remaining populations into safe havens. He helped raise two orphaned rhino calves and saw their successful reintroduction to the wild after three years. Mike is a keen and enthusiastic naturalist and his knowledge of the bush is extensive and varied.

Tor's experience of over 25 years conducting photographic safaris is hard to match. His knowledge of the flora, fauna, history and culture has accrued through a deep interest in his environs and time spent in the bush. He has traveled extensively throughout Africa, is fascinated by East Africa's 19th century explorers and is a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society.

Charles Babault

Charles’ love of nature and adventure has taken him to cross Africa by boat using the rivers and lakes that span the continent, to run camps in the wilderness of southern Sudan and Kenya, and to spend literally years in the jungles of Laos, Cambodia and the far north of Burma. He has worked as a safari guide leading travellers into the national parks of Kenya and Tanzania, and as a river and sea-kayaking guide in Australia. For the last 7 years he has built and run inbound tour operations over the entire South East Asia region. He is now 39 years old and is back in East Africa to work as a full time safari guide.
